Retail POS & Inventory System

Challenge

Sales and stock records kept in separate places meant the business owner never had reliable numbers: how much stock remains, which products sell, and what operating costs are running. Checkout also had to stay fast during peak hours.

Solution

We built a Laravel-based point-of-sale application with a responsive React interface for cashier operations:

• POS register — cashier sessions with fast transaction recording.
• Products & stock — product catalog, brands, categories, units, stock management with adjustments and transaction holds.
• Coupons & promos — coupon codes for sales programs.
• Operating expenses — expense tracking per category so profit reads complete.
• Multi-currency & multi-language — ready for cross-region use.
• User roles & permissions — cashiers, supervisors, and owners with different access.

Results

• Checkout runs fast with stock deducted automatically.
• Stock positions and sales are readable in real time, without manual recaps.
• Operating expenses live in the same place as sales data.
• Reports are ready to drive restocking and promo decisions.
